Kim & Mike’s Sunday Jam @ Spirits Week 7: Special Guest Priscilla Elliston

June 12, 2011

HOLY S#%& Spirits rocked last week!! So much fun with Tracey Gallant, and other special guests who popped in to join on drums, keys, and guitar. Handy to have stuff around from Long & McQuade so that can happen so easily! Spontaneous blues jams occurred, $5 pints of Mill St. Organic were enjoyed – our “spirits” were uplifted. 🙂

Continuing the fun this month:

Spirits June Line-up

Our special guest for Week 7 is: Priscilla Elliston (aka Sweet P). Priscilla was a regular contributor to our Tuesday night open mic at Slack’s for many years, and we’re pleased to offer her a platform to present her original and delicate folky-pop songs to the community at Spirits.

Some may find her similar to a young Tracy Chapman – she writes from her heart and comes complete with a cheering section of friends and family, some of whom she’s even written songs for, such as the aptly titled, “Baby Sis”, for her younger sister.

As always, there’s lots of time for other folks to play, lots of folks to jam with, and a ton of fun every Sunday! Come check it out, and our special guest – Priscilla Ellison – live at Spirits on June 12th from 9pm – close.
